The Largest storm on record devastated the Philippines on the 8th of November killing tens of thousands and displacing close to 1 million people from their homes. The realities of the numbers are still coming to light but the UN estimates that almost 10 million people in total have been affected. Women, children and those already vulnerable from a recent earthquake in the area are in desperate need of your help.
Basic food stuff and clean water are amongst the immediate needs. We just need to keep people alive at this stage whilst we look at rebuilding communities in the long term. Local supplies are destroyed and disease from standing water is a major concern. We need your help urgently to get to those most vulnerable. Our teams from indonesia have flown out to the area and are on the ground. We just need to make sure they have all they need to do their job. Please help us urgently.
