Amazing things can happen when supporters – like you – host fun and engaging events. Why not raise funds for us?
From bake sales to sponsored bike rides, and everything in-between, every penny raised goes directly to support our vital work, ensuring needy communities worldwide benefit from our emergency response initiatives and empowering community projects.
Maybe you’re a skilled baker or a sports enthusiast? or Perhaps you’re an adrenaline-junkie willing to take on a nail-biting challenge? Whatever your skill, interests and passion there are endless ways to raise invaluable funds to support our work.
Bake Sales
Are you a talented baker? Do you enjoy cooking? Baking to raise money is a fun and delicious way of fundraising. You can get the little ones involved too! Why not host a bake sale for us this Christmas? Help spread the cheer, and sweetness (with appropriate social distancing, of course!)
Car Boot Sale
Have items at home that you no longer use? Things that are just gathering dust? Why not collect it all, get your family and friends involved too and do a car boot sale! You can donate all the money from your sales to one of our projects or appeal!
Donate your coffee money
Instead of spending money on your favorite tall latte from a café, why not consider donating the equivalent amount towards a good cause? With many of us working from home and making our own coffees, the money we would otherwise spend on a daily caffeine fix could go towards supporting a charity or organization in need.
Money for likes
Are you a social media superstar? If yes, you will love this fundraising idea!
Whether you are a Tiktok legend, an Instagram guru or a Snapchat expert, you can donate anywhere from 50p to £2 for new followers and likes. Get your fellow social media circle involved too. Try to go as big as you can!
Donate your travel money
Hybrid working can truly have many money benefits if we take the glass half full approach. Why not donate your commute money to charity? Your travel cost can help a needy family with much needed necessities of life.
Make your Birthday even more meaningful
Birthdays are truly a special time of the year, how about doing something this birthday? Instead of receiving presents, ask your family and loved ones to make donations in your name! You can do this on Facebook or setup your own page.
Are you a business or a community organisation?
Why not encourage your staff and volunteers to do a special ‘charity week’. It would make a great team building experience and help a good cause in the process. You could also set up a Justgiving.com page to help track against targets – see earlier.
